Milo Health ("we", "us", "our") is a clinical note builder application built for Australian osteopaths. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Milo Health desktop application and website at milohealth.com.au.
1. Who We Are
Milo Health is operated by Max Miller, an Australian osteopath based in Melbourne, Victoria. You can contact us at maxtheosteopath@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Your name and email address when you purchase a licence through Stripe.
- Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.
- Licence information: Your licence key and purchase date, stored in a private Google Sheet for account management purposes.
- App usage data: The Milo Health app stores clinical note data locally on your device only. This data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- Cliniko data: If you connect Milo Health to your Cliniko account, the app communicates directly with Cliniko's API using your credentials. We do not store or access your Cliniko data.
- Voice transcription: If you use the Voice to Notes feature, audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. We do not store audio recordings. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- AI note enhancement: If you use the Voice to Notes feature, the transcribed summary of your consultation (and, only where you enable the per-patient "History check" option, prior treatment notes for that patient) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to structure your note. We do not store this data on our servers, and Anthropic does not use data sent via its API to train its models. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Deliver your licence key and download links after purchase
- Verify your licence when you activate the app
- Send important product updates and renewal reminders
- Respond to support enquiries
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
4. Clinical Data and Patient Privacy
Milo Health is designed with patient privacy in mind. All clinical notes, patient details, and session history are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly push it to Cliniko using the built-in Cliniko integration.
As a practitioner using Milo Health, you are responsible for ensuring your use of the app complies with your obligations under Australian privacy law, including the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, as well as any relevant state health records legislation.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your licence information is stored in a private, access-controlled Google Sheet. Your purchase details are held by Stripe in accordance with their security standards. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access.

Our website at milohealth.com.au does not currently use cookies or analytics tracking.
